Family outings to your local park (or even a national park) will help your child learn how to appreciate the wonders of the great outdoors and why it is so important to preserve it. \nWorld Earth Day is celebrated across the world on April 22 every year. \nCelebrate Earth Day for kids with fun activities that raise awareness for environmental issues — like climate change and plastic pollution\, among others — to instill a love for Mother Earth in your little ones.\nCheck out these easy Earth Day projects for kids of all ages to enjoy while exploring and conserving our beautiful planet. \n1. Be More Car-Free\nWalking or biking to school (or to any family outing) will teach your child about reducing emissions and minimizing their carbon footprint. Your child will not only get fresh air and exercise\, but they will also do their part to make a difference to combat climate change. \n2. Make an Animal Feeder or House\nThis sweet Earth Day craft provides shelter to a myriad of tiny animals that visit your window or backyard\, like birds and squirrels. To make an animal shelter or a bird feeder\, reuse a milk carton\, a large water or soda bottle\, popsicle sticks\, or any other eco-friendly art supplies and let your child’s creativity go wild! \n3. Create Recycling Bins\nRecycling is a great way to give used materials another life and reduce waste. Designate a bin for recyclable items\, like paper\, plastic\, and metals and glass. Since the day occurs on Sunday\, a lot of people go to church with their dad to celebrate the day.Ideas for Father’s Day \n\nMake a Card – All dads like a handmade card. Be sure to write a note and list some of the things you like about your dad. Draw a picture of you and him doing something together.\nSports – If your dad is into sports\, make the day a sports day. You could make him a card with a sports team and then watch his favorite team with him. Ask him to play catch or golf or whatever sport he likes. If you really want to go all out you could even get him a ticket to a sporting event or the jersey of his favorite team.\nChores – Do some chores for your dad that you don’t normally do. You could pull the weeds in the yard\, vacuum the house\, do the dishes\, or clean the grill. Do a chore that he normally does.\nFood – Most dads enjoy eating. You can make him his favorite meal or take him out to eat somewhere that he likes to go.\nSleep – Let your dad take a nap. Make sure the house is quiet and let him sleep on the couch if he wants to. He will love it!
